How can I create and display a blog with Website Builder?
This will show you how to create a blog to display on your Website Builder website. You can use the blog to keep your visitors up to date on all your news and current events, or to keep a journal or write opinion pieces to display on your site.
This feature is applicable to multiple versions of the Website Builder platform, so please use the options below to find the appropriate instructions for the package you are using. If you are not sure which version of Website Builder you are using, you can use this article to check.

Ensure you are on the page you wish to display your blog (you may want to create a dedicated Blog page) and then click on the Blog section of the menu on the left hand side of the page. Then click on the Add Blog button.
This will create your blog, click on the Start Blogging Now button to get started.
Your blog will be created with a couple of placeholder blogs. You can unpublish or even delete them. When you’re ready to create your own content, click on the Add New Post button.
This will take you to the blog editor section, where you can create your blogs. You can add new components to your blog including images and video, and edit existing sections by simply clicking on them and using them as you would a Word Document.
You can Save your blog for later, or publish it from this screen.
Clicking on the Post Settings option gives you extended options for your post, including adding a thumbnail, title and description – which are important items for SEO.
You can add individual blog widgets to your page to ensure it displays exactly how you want it to.
Website Builder 7
To manage your blog, click on the blog icon on the left hand side menu bar. This will take you to the blog overview screen.
This is where you will see all of your posts, there will be an example post, but this will not be published. To add a post, click on the Add A Post button in the Blog sub menu.
Enter the title and copy of your post into the boxes provided. You will be able to format the text using the tools at the top of the text box, just like you would on a CMS such as WordPress, or in word processing software such as Microsoft Word.
Next you can further customise your post, add a post summary so your visitors will know what your post is all about, a feature image for your post, tags to show what your post is all about, and a category. Click Save Draft if you want to come back to it later, or Publish if you’re ready for your site to go live.
