How do I add a PayPal button in Website Builder?

This article will show you how to add a PayPal ‘Buy Now’ button to your website.

By allowing customers to quickly purchase any of your products and services through PayPal, it can give your website an added layer of ecommerce functionality.

Start by logging in to Website Builder.

From there, add a new section to your page.

In the right-hand menu that appears, select Commerce and then choose PayPal Button.

A list of options will now appear. Click Add below your preferred design.

After a few moments, your PayPal button will be added to your page. You can change its layout, design and content via the provided options within the right-hand menu.

By clicking PayPal Settings, you can change the following:

  1. The associated email address
  2. Button text
  3. Button design
  4. Currency
  5. Donation Method
  6. Donation ID

Please note: if you don’t have a PayPal account, then PayPal will hold your funds until you create one.

From there, select Widgets in the left-hand menu.

Scroll down to the Business section, and then drag and drop the PayPal widget whenever you want it to appear on your page.

You can now edit the content and design of your PayPal button by using the Content and Design tabs within the provided pop-up window.

The most important information that you’ll need to include will be:

  • Your PayPal username
  • Whether you want it to offer a ‘Buy’ or ‘Donate’ function
