This article will show you how to add a promotional banner/pop-up message in Website Builder.
If you want to inform your visitors about any seasonal offers, limited products or important news, there’s no better way of doing this than with a promotional banner or pop-up message. Not only do they immediately grab your visitors’ attention, but they can also make the difference between losing a prospective customer and making a sale.
What is a pop-up?
A pop-up is a small window that appears when you access a website. These open in a new window within your browser and are typically used for promotional and advertising purposes. Since users need to view them in order to close them, they’re guaranteed to see whatever product or service you’re promoting, making it a great way of showing off your latest offers.
To create either of these items, simply choose your preferred option from the provided list:

Adding a promotional banner
Start by logging in to Website Builder.
From there, access the page you wish to add a banner to and click anywhere in the header (the top part of the page).
Select Promotional Banner from the right-hand menu that appears.
You will now be shown a list of options for your banner. To activate your banner, make sure that the toggle opposite Show promotion is enabled.
From there, you can change the wording of your banner and add seasonal decorations using the provided options. You can also add a link to one of your pages, a third-party website or an email address.
Once you’re happy with everything, select Done to save your changes.
Adding a pop-up message
Start by logging in to Website Builder.
From there, select Popup in the right-hand menu.
On the next page, select the toggle opposite Enable Popup to activate this feature.
You will now be able to customise the appearance your pop-up, including its main image, description and button. As with promotional banners, you can add a link to one of your website’s pages, to a separate website or to an email address.
Once you’re happy with everything, select Done to save your changes.
