How do I add custom code to my site?
This article will show you how to add custom HTML code to your site in Website Builder.
Although you won’t need to touch any coding when using our Website Builder services, tech-savvy users can insert their own HTML code by using a dedicated section. This will allow you to add advanced features such as custom tables, maps and more. To do this, simply follow the steps outlined below.
Please note: this feature is only recommended for advanced users.
This article only applies to Version 9 of our Website Builder. If you’re not sure which version you have, you can find out by reading this article.
Start by logging in to Website Builder.
Access the page you wish to add your custom code to and add a new section.
Choose Files & Web from the right-hand menu, followed by HTML.
Click Add for the provided section.
After a few moments, your HTML section will be added to the page. From here, you can insert your unique code into the Custom Code field within the right-hand menu. You can also change its title and colour scheme using the provided options.
We recommend that you use HTTPS code and make this change using the latest version of your web browser. Should you experience any issues, you may wish to increase the height within your code. Similarly, if your content changes height as users interact with it, we recommend that you set a fixed value within the Forced Height field.

Once you’re happy with your changes, click Done to return to the main site navigation menu.
