How do I change the theme or colour of my website?
This article will show you how to change your website’s theme and colour scheme.
If you want to refresh your website but don’t want to start from scratch, it might be worth giving it a lick of paint and swapping out the main theme. Select the relevant section from the list below and follow the provided steps to get started:
Please note: this article only applies to Version 9 of our Website Builder. If you’re not sure which version you have, you can find out by reading this article.
Changing the colour scheme
Start by logging in to Website Builder.
From there, select Theme within the right-hand menu.
Next, click Color.
You will now be provided with a selection of matching colours to choose from. Alternatively, you can select a custom colour using the colour wheel below this section. You can also set how light and dark these colours will appear within the Paint your site section.
If you want a particular section to use a different background colour, you can change this via its settings, which will override these changes.
Any changes you make will automatically be saved, so feel free to exit this page once you’re done.
Changing the theme
Start by logging in to Website Builder.
From there, select Theme within the right-hand menu.
Next, click Try a new look.
You will now be given a list of different themes to choose from. Simply click your preferred option to use it as the basis for your website.
If you want to change this, simply repeat the steps outlined above and choose a different theme.
