How do I connect or disconnect my Facebook Business page with my website?
This article will show you integrate and remove your Facebook Business page from Website Builder.
To get started, simply select the relevant title below and follow the provided instructions:
Please note: this article only applies to Version 9 of our Website Builder. If you’re not sure which version you have, you can find out by reading this article.
Connecting your Facebook Business page
Start by logging in to Website Builder.
From there, click Website Builder in the top-left corner and select Dashboard from the list of options.
On the next page, select Marketing in the toolbar and then choose Social from the drop-down menu.
Select Connect opposite Facebook within the Platforms box.
If you haven’t already done so, sign in to your Facebook account.
If you’re an Admin of any Facebook business pages, you’ll need to select which page(s) you want to use with your Website Builder package. Otherwise, you can create a new business page to use instead.
Once done, click Next to continue.
Set your information preferences from the list of options and then select Done.
Please note: if you’re having issues connecting your Website Builder package to Facebook, you may wish to perform the following:
- Check that the page you’re trying to connect is a Business page (and not a Profile page).
- Check the privacy and business integration settings for your Facebook Business page.
- Disconnect and re-connect your Facebook Business page.
Disconnecting your Facebook Business page
Start by logging in to Website Builder.
From there, click Website Builder in the top-left corner and select Dashboard from the list of options.
On the next page, select Marketing in the toolbar and then choose Social from the drop-down menu.
Click Manage opposite Facebook.
On the next page, select Manage and then choose Disconnect from the drop-down menu.
A pop-up window will now appear, asking you to confirm your choice. Click Yes, Disconnect Me to complete the process.
