How do I show or hide any pages from my website’s navigation?
This article will explain how you can choose which pages to display on your website’s navbar.
Although it might be tempting to include all your website’s pages within your site’s navigation bar, you may have some pages that you don’t want your visitors to have ready access to. Furthermore, by having dozens of pages within your navbar, this will take up a lot of space and could end up confusing your visitors.
To this end, you can set which pages should appear within your navbar, along with which devices they should appear on. For example, you might want to remove some pages from the mobile version of your site so that you don’t overwhelm your mobile users with loads of options on such a small screen.
Please note: this article is only applicable for Version 8 of our Website Builder package. If you’re not sure which version of Website Builder you have, you can find out by reading this article.
Start by logging in to your Website Builder package.
From there, select Pages in the left-hand menu.
A list of all your current webpages will now be displayed.
Click the gear icon opposite the page you want to show or hide, and then hover your cursor over Hide/Show in navigation from the drop-down menu that appears.
You’ll now be able to choose which devices will or won’t show your page within your website’s navbar, including desktop, mobile, tablet or even all of them.
Simply click any of the listed options to implement your change.
Once you’ve made your choice, an icon will appear next to your page name, reflecting the option that you chose. That way, you’ll be able to immediately see which devices will or won’t show that page within your navbar.
