How do I use the embed widget on my Website Builder website?

This article will show you how to use the Embed widget in Website Builder.

You can use the Embed widget to add third-party content to your site, giving it another level of creativity. For example, you can use it to add custom Twitter widgets, blog rolls and weather widgets.

Since this feature is available for multiple versions of our Website Builder tool, select your version from the list below and follow the instructions provided to get started:

Please note: before getting started, you’ll need to get the Embed code for your file. Most websites will give you this unique code when you select Embed within their sharing options.

Start by logging in to your Website Builder package.

From there, select Widgets in the left-hand menu.

Scroll down to the Advanced section, and then drag and drop the HTML widget wherever you want it to appear on your page.

A pop-up window will now appear where you’ll need to enter your HTML code.

Once you have your HTML code, copy it into the provided window and click Update.

Your widget will now show your new element based on the code you entered.

If you want to amend the design of your widget, you can do this by selecting the Design tab or, if you’re tech-savvy, by clicking Edit CSS.

Start by logging in to your Website Builder package.

From there, select Add Content, scroll down to the Layout section and then drag and drop the Embed widget wherever you want it to appear on your page.

Now your Embed widget is on your page, click on the widget to open its Settings panel.

Copy and paste the HTML code you wish to use into the Embed box. For this example, we are using a simple Weather widget. Once done, click Save to confirm your changes.

Once you have saved the widget, you may need to refresh or preview your page to see the widget in action.

Start by logging in to your Website Builder package.

From there, select Widgets within the left-hand menu, followed by Content.

Once done, drag and drop the Embed widget wherever you want it to appear on your page.

From there, either double-click the Embed tool or click the gear icon that appears within the provided toolbar to access its settings. This will allow you to add your HTML code and edit the content of the widget.
