How do I use the embed widget on my Website Builder website?

This article will show you how to use the Embed widget in Website Builder.

You can use the Embed widget to add third-party content to your site, giving it another level of creativity. For example, you can use it to add custom Twitter widgets, blog rolls and weather widgets.

Since this process differs depending on which version of Website Builder you have, please select your version from the list below and follow the instructions provided to get started:

Please note: before getting started, you’ll need to get the Embed code for your file. Most websites will give you this unique code when you select Embed within their sharing options.

Start by logging in to Website Builder.

From there, add a new section to your page.

In the right-hand menu that appears, select Files & Web and then choose HTML.

Click Add below the section that appears.

After a few moments, your section will be added to your page. Enter your custom code into the provided field and give your section a title. You can also set a specific height for your section via the Forced Height field.

Once you’ve done this, click Done to save your changes.

Start by logging in to your Website Builder package.

From there, select Widgets in the left-hand menu.

Scroll down to the Advanced section, and then drag and drop the HTML widget wherever you want it to appear on your page.

A pop-up window will now appear where you’ll need to enter your HTML code.

Once you have your HTML code, copy it into the provided window and click Update.

Your widget will now show your new element based on the code you entered.

If you want to amend the design of your widget, you can do this by selecting the Design tab or, if you’re tech-savvy, by clicking Edit CSS.
