How do I insert a Text Block into my website?

This article will show you how to add a text box to your Website Builder package.

Text boxes are one of the most important parts of any website, as they often form the main bulk of content. Each of your text blocks can also be easily customised to match your brand’s style, by adjusting the size, font style, colour and more.

Since this feature is available for multiple versions of our Website Builder tool, select your version from the list below and follow the instructions provided to get started:

Version 8

Step 1 of 4

Start by logging in to your Website Builder package.

From there, select Widgets in the left-hand menu.

Scroll down to the Basics section, and then drag and drop the Text widget wherever you want it to appear on your page.

Once you’ve placed your Text widget into a suitable place, you can begin populating it with text.

You can also edit its design by selecting the relevant option from the toolbar that appears above your widget, including the font size, type, style colour, alignment and more. Once you’ve made your changes, click the green tick icon to save them.

Start by logging in to your Website Builder package.

From there, select Add Content within the top toolbar and then drag and drop the Normal Paragraph widget wherever you want it to appear on your page.

You can enter your text into the text box as well as change the style, alter the font, colour and size by using the tools that appear above your widget.

Once done, click Save to confirm your changes.

From there, select Widgets in the left-hand menu and open the Basics section.

From there, drag and drop the Text Block widget wherever you want it to appear on your page.

Double-click the text block to begin adding your own text and editing its design using the toolbar above.
