The Website Builder Colour Picker

This will show you how to access your Website Builder colour picker. This will allow you to customise your site’s colour scheme to ensure it looks exactly how you want it to, and fits the styling and branding you desire.

This feature is applicable to multiple versions of the Website Builder platform, so please use the options below to find the appropriate instructions for the package you are using. If you are not sure which version of Website Builder you are using, you can use this article to check.

The customisation option allows you to change each area of your colour palette by clicking on each element of your colour palette and either replacing it with another colour from the palette, or if you click on the colour picker, you can pick a completely different colour.

The colour picker is used when selecting the colours for items like text or widget colours.

To open the colour picker, select the item you wish to edit and open the settings panel, and select the Colour icon.

The Website Builder Colour picker has four components:

The Custom Colour Selecter

This allows you to chose just the right shade and hue for your website.

The Colour Swatch

This allows you to see all the complimenting colours in any given theme, also showing you the different shades and tones available.

The Selected Colour Display

This allows you to see an example of the colour you have selected, as well as the corresponding Hex Colour Code. You can also copy and paste other hex codes into the box provided if you know exactly what colour you require.

Picked Colours Storage

This allows you to store the colours you’d previously selected for easy access later.
