Note: Even though you can optimize your site in just a few minutes, it could take weeks for the changes to affect your site’s search engine ranking. Search engines index changes to your site regularly, but not immediately.
- Go to your 123 Reg product page.
- Scroll down, expand Website Builder and select Manage next to your site.
- On your dashboard, expand Marketing, and then select SEO.
- Depending on your SEO setup history, you'll have different options:
- If you previously set up SEO, you'll have the choice to edit your optimization settings.
- If this is your first time setting up SEO, we'll use artificial intelligence (AI) to automatically analyze your site and suggest the most impactful keywords to help you rank well on search engines. To accept them, select Publish Changes. We'll add keywords to your content and image "alt" tags.
- If you prefer to review the suggestions and approve them later, select Not Yet.
- To make the changes live, select Publish Now.
Note: We optimize up to 5 pages of your website. To optimize more pages, go to your website builder, select SETTINGS, and then SEO Settings.
Once you've gone through the SEO wizard you can see how your site is ranking on Google. To track your metrics, sign in to your Google account.
