How do I set up Microsoft 365 mail on my domain name?

Once you have verified your domain name with Microsoft 365 (previously known as Office 365), you can configure the DNS for your domain name in your 123 Reg Control Panel. You can find the DNS entries required by following the steps listed here.

To set up Microsoft 365 mail on your domain name, you’ll need to ensure your domain is pointed to the 123 Reg nameservers. Otherwise, you will be unable to manage them from the 123 Reg Control Panel.

Please note: this article was originally created for our legacy Control Panel. As such, the steps outlined below may not be relevant for domain names purchased after August 2023.

In addition to this, it will take between 24-48 hours for any new nameserver (DNS) records to become active. For more information on changing your DNS records, please view the following article: How do I change the nameservers for my domain name?
