The trouble with running a business is when it’s good it’s very good and when it’s bad it’s very bad and just like rowing around the UK like these guys recently did, when it’s bad you can often feel completely out of control.
Yet, just as those world record beaters in the rowing boat proved, there is a way to success in adversity, you just have to find the right path and be determined to push on.
One of the biggest lessons to learn in business however is that none of us are superhuman. To be fair if we were superhuman we probably wouldn’t be trying to save a business, we’d hopefully be off saving the world, but that’s another story. The thing is, however good you are, you just can not be good at everything, or at least good enough to make it count. Even if you were, is “good enough” actually good enough for your business. Surely you should be aiming higher?
The aim should be to achieve the best for your business. So remember going it alone is not always the best option.
