Starting a Business - 1440x460

Digital has unlocked so much for SMEs: An interview with Oli Barrett

Oli Barrett MBE, is one of the UK’s most passionate supporters of small business. Throughout a varied career, Oli has made a critical difference to the success of the UK’s smallest businesses. Oli co-founded the national StartUp Britain campaign, Tenner, social innovation agency Cospa and Speednetwork the Globe. He also set up Cospa, which helps companies and causes to create and grow ventures which both make money and make a difference.

Oli is passionate about starting things and is in his own words is a ‘serial starter-upper.’ Perhaps not a term that is used often, but it fits incredibly well. As well as starting things, Oli is clear that introductions and connections are his passion and bringing together the ‘dots’ that need to be joined up is important to the health of small businesses.

To help other small businesses to learn and grow, 123 Reg sat down with Oli to understand how small businesses can make connections and tackle the new and ever-changing digital world. In the video below, Oli offers his expert view on how small businesses can adapt to these changing landscapes online and grow their businesses for the long-term.
